Hello world INDEED!

I thought of putting up a blog that would tell the world about my ancestors. There are many websites talking about the Igorots, but there are only a few of them that reflect the true Igorot.

In my younger years (no so long ago), I did not want to brand myself as an Igorot. Because my classmates defined Igorot as:

  • dirty
  • poor/ beggars
  • “PROMDI” (from the province)
  • ignorant
  •  etc.

Ygolottes.com a plan come true! Now I can share to the world how proud I am to be a Genuine Igorot and that Igorots do not have tails.

My frequent visits to our great grandpa (Baltazar Fernando) in Bokod, my father’s hometown, made me appreciate my roots. I got interested about stories of my lolo and his brothers, great grandpa’s life as a politician and even his lovelife- that I hope to share in future entries.
